Marina Lou

Senior Research Analyst


Marina is a researcher specialising in climate ambition and energy transition. She has led research and analysis on the impacts of carbon border adjustments, sizing the investment opportunity in climate mitigation and a green economy, and connecting policy to climate science.

She has a background in corporate governance and scenario analysis, having worked as a litigator, campaigner and consultant in the climate and energy space for more than a decade. She is currently serving as the managing director of Climate Horizon and a board member of Environment Victoria.  

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Arts from the University of Melbourne, and a master’s in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po, Paris.
