Murray is a senior research analyst focusing on the oil and gas industry. Previously he led Global Witness’ research and investigations on the fossil fuel industry, including work on upstream oil and gas investment, LNG expansion and hydrogen production and deployment. He has over 15 years experience in research and policy analysis across a range of topics, including financial market regulation and transparency, climate finance and workers’ rights.
He holds an MA in Politics from the University of Edinburgh.
