Jo is the team’s research analyst on climate science, policy and nature. Prior to joining ZCA she was based at the African Climate & Development Initiative at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, where she explored the risks to biodiversity of temperature overshoot and genetic maladaptation under climate change.
She completed her PhD at the University of Cape Town, where she studied the green chemistry of drought-tolerant plants.
